Beautifully polished, pretty light lilac purple Lepidolite mini tower, also called a standing point. Some in association with pink Moonstone. From Southern Africa. Good to A Grade. Size approx 3-5cm. You will receive one point.

 

GEOLOGICAL

Lepidolite is a member of the Mica family, and ranges in colour from a lilac grey to rose pink, to purple and even red and yellow hues. It is the most abundant Lithium-bearing mineral. Its name is derived from the Greek word “‘lepidos” for scale and “lithos” for stone. It was originally discovered in the Czech Republic.
