Bloodstone Natural Rough Piece.
These rough pieces are a solid dark green Chalcedony with tiny flecks of red Jasper. Some intrusive white and yellow areas. Red flecks might not appear on all pieces as these are small cobbed pieces, but all pieces are from the same Bloodstone material. Good to A Grade.
GEOLOGICAL
Heliotrope is a mineral aggregate, a name given to various combinations of green material with red flecks or spotted inclusions. The red spots give Heliotrope its trade name Bloodstone. Less commonly there may be white or yellow inclusions. The green material is variably called Chalcedony, Plasma or Chrysoprase if it’s translucent. If it’s solid opaque, then we call it green Jasper.

The red inclusions are classically iron oxide, however it can also be Actinolite or Hornblende needles, depending on the material.
