Natural small nodule formation of white Magnesite. Also called ‘cauliflower’ formation. Good to A Grade. Size approx 1-3cm.

GEOLOGICAL:

Magnesite is a magnesium carbonate mineral and is named after the Magnesium in its composition. This mineral has been detected on Mars! The Magnesite in the Southern African area forms as massive lenses in Serpentine deposits. It is found as massive lapidary-grade material at multiple sites, including Zimbabwe, Botswana, and South Africa. The grey veining is caused by the presence of Chalcedony.
