GEOLOGICAL

Galena is a Lead Sulfide. It is the most important ore of lead and an important source of silver. Galena crystallizes in the cubic crystal system and collectable specimens display blocky to tabular cubic to octahedral formations. Metallic grey in colour, Galena is also identifiable through its high density, meaning specimens feel heavier than they look.
