Amazing long thin laser singing Quartz points with variably light to dark tangerine colouring (golden healer)! Some lovely diamond window formations as well as a few parallelogram time link formations.

Singer or singing crystals are crystals that make a high-pitched “singing” (tinkling) sound when rubbed or rolled together – notably higher and clearer than the dull-ish sound of rubbing normal Quartz together.

GEOLOGICAL INFO

Quartz is a hexagonal crystalline mineral composed of Silica. It is one of the most abundant minerals on earth. Quartz vibrates at a very specific frequency. This, combined with its general hardness and durability, heat resistance and electrical properties, has made it one of the most useful crystals in the modern world.

 

Limonite is an oxide and iron ore that occurs in varying shades of yellow to brown. It is used as a field term to describe unidentified massive hydroxides and oxides of iron with a yellow-brown streak where no visible crystals are present.

In other words, mineralogists know it’s an oxide, but they are not sure of its exact chemical composition. While Hematite can occur as yellow in some rare cases, it is a general rule of thumb that red hues are Hematite and yellow hues are Limonite.

Limonite Quartz, also known as Golden Healer, Tangerine and Lemonite Quartz, is Quartz with golden yellow to brown oxide inclusions or coatings.
